A sunset by the sea that stays in your heart.

Sometimes all you need is to slow down. Grab a glass of cool local wine, wrap yourself in a light blanket and let the sun slowly touch the horizon. These are the kind of evenings I love in Corfu.

The warmth of the deck, the gentle breeze, the salty air and the light hugging the rocks. We set off on a short sunset cruise off the coast of the island – no more than 35 people on board. Everything is intimate, very homely.

We were treated to aromatic Greek appetizers and a juicy cocktail with citrus notes. Some chose wine, some juice. And some just looked at the sea. There was Wi-Fi, but almost no one took out their phones — because reality was more beautiful.

This evening became one of those that you want to save in a jar - like jam made from sunny moments.
