Body as a Garden: Oil Ritual for Skin and Memory

Updated: Jun 30

I love oil not for its shine or its effect. I love it for its touch. For the way it connects the body to the moment. When a drop of oil touches the skin, something more than a treatment begins. A dialogue begins.

I make myself an aroma oil - light, daytime, floral , to apply after a shower or sun. Sometimes - in the morning, before going out. Sometimes - in the evening, as a farewell to the day. It is not heavy, not sticky. It is like a trace of grass on the wrist . Almost elusive. But lingering.

My Body Oil Fragrance Recipe

Base oil (50 ml):

  • jojoba oil – 30 ml

  • apricot kernel oil - 20 ml

Herbs and petals (dry):

  • lavender flowers

  • cornflower petals

  • a little immortelle

  • 1-2 rose buds

Essential oils:

  • 3 drops lavender

  • 2 drops of geranium

  • 1 drop benzoin (or vanilla CO2)

Place the petals in a clean bottle. Pour in the base oils, add essential oils. Let it sit in the shade for 5-7 days. The oil will infuse – both with herbs and with memory.

📌 Application: On damp skin - morning or evening. On collarbones. On shoulders. On the inside of the wrist. This is not just care. This is a way to hear yourself with your body .
