There are places that feel you from the first day. Cosy Family is exactly that. Cozy family apartments just a few minutes from Corfu town, with a balcony where a nightingale flies in the morning, and a garden where an olive tree grows.

We lived here for several weeks, and the whole time I felt like I was not in a hotel, but visiting old friends.

What I especially remember:

– a two-level apartment , comfortable and bright– two bedrooms downstairs with access to a small courtyard with a palm tree, jasmine, flowers– a spacious balcony upstairs – we drank tea there in the morning, listening to the birds– two bathrooms (convenient if you are with family)– the kitchen has everything: oven, coffee machine, dishwasher – you can cook like at home

But the main thing is the hostess Angelika . She welcomed us as if we were family: on the table there was a basket of fruit, local cheese, a small homemade pie with cinnamon and orange, a bottle of pink wine from Moraitika. She showed us where everything was, told us where it was best to go - and then remained unobtrusively attentive - with care, but with a delicate silence.

Sometimes you want silence and a garden with an olive tree. Cosy Family is exactly such an apartment. I found it on Klook when I was looking for a place where I could take a breather after the road, make some tea and take my time.

If you are looking for a place in Corfu that is truly calm, beautiful and homely - pay attention. We had a great time here. Calm, comfortable, proven - I would go back there again.
