Fig and rosemary infusion - the taste of silence.

Not all drinks are about thirst. This one is about clarity. When the day is languid, thoughts are warm, the sun is too bright - this infusion does not refresh , it calms . It is not cold - it is pure .

Fig provides depth, rosemary coolness and structure. Together, they remind us that even water can be meditative.

What you need:

  • 1-2 dried figs (or fresh if in season)

  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary (or ½ tsp dried)

  • 400 ml hot water

  • optional - a slice of pear or a drop of honey (if you want it soft)

🫖 How to cook:

  1. Pour hot (not boiling) water over the figs and rosemary.

  2. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes under the lid.

  3. Drink it warm, without rushing. You can strain it or leave the figs in the cup.

What it gives:

  • clears the senses like air after rain

  • grounds

  • helps to "reboot" feelings and thoughts

  • It is good to drink in silence, under a tree or next to a book

This infusion is not a drink. It is a way to exhale. And let the body say: "I am here. And I am enough."

With love, Lily from the notebook of light
