Herbal collection for sleep. Ritual for 21:30.

Updated: May 27, 2025

sleep doesn't come on schedule. Sometimes the body is already tired, but the mind is still in the kitchen, on the phone, in tomorrow's "what if".

I don't like "sleepy" teas. But I do like gentle rituals that slowly unravel the day - like a ribbon on a letter, not like a switch.

My 9:30pm collection is not “insomnia herbs.” It’s herbs that say: you can lie down. you can let go. you can just be.

My evening gathering

  • Melissa - 1 tsp.

  • Chamomile - 1 tsp.

  • Linden flowers - ½ tsp.

  • Lemon verbena leaf - a pinch

  • (optional) rose petals - a little, for the body and mood

🔄 How to brew:

  1. Mix the herbs.

  2. Pour in 200 ml of hot (not boiling) water.

  3. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes.

  4. Drink slowly. No rush. No sugar. Can be added with a teaspoon of linden honey.

I don't drink it every evening . Only on those when I want to be silent, but beautifully.

The cat always lies closer on such evenings. The light in the kitchen is softer. I hold the cup with both hands. And even if sleep does not come right away, it is already quiet inside.

This collection doesn't make you sleep. It just reminds you that the world can wait a little without you.
