How to get from the airport and not lose your mood on the way

When the plane touches the ground of Corfu, you are already a little different. The wind is different, the rhythm is different. It is important not to spoil this first feeling - with haste, bags and unclear routes. I have collected the simplest and most sincere way to get from the airport to the port, to the center, to the hotel.

✈️ From the airport to the center and port:

• Take bus number 15 , the blue city route. It connects the airport with the centre and port of Corfu , passing through San Rocco Square (a convenient transfer point) on the way.

• Buses run approximately every 30 minutes . It is better to prepare small cash - you can buy a ticket from the driver or from a machine.

• The trip is not just transport. It is almost an excursion: alleys, shadows of trees, a city that is just waking up .

🚶 On foot - if you want to walk:

From the airport to the central green bus station (KTEL) it is about a 20-minute walk . This is the way for those who want to see how the island starts the day: shops, the smell of baked goods, and the sea in the distance.
