In three years of living in Corfu, I think I've tried all the sea routes . There were short sunset walks, morning trips to Paxos, sailing along the coast and quiet days on the deck, where you can just listen to the sea. And still, each time - it's a slightly different Greece.
Recently discovered a full-day cruise along the north-east coast of the island. A very soulful journey - as if you were visiting old friends.
From the deck of a cozy boat, you can enjoy vivid panoramas of the Old Town and its fortresses. And then - swimming in the clear waters of Nissaki, the fishing houses of Kouloura and quiet bays with history. Here they show you the Peristeres lighthouse and tell stories of the Greek maritime past. And then - lunch right on the boat, with wine, snacks and the sea around. The atmosphere of a leisurely holiday.
I was absolutely delighted. There are few places, everything is intimate, personal and truly beautiful. If you are in Corfu this season, I highly recommend:
May your day be sunny, seaside and delicious
