Misty perfume: a scent that touches, does not speak.

Spirits can scream. Or they can breathe. I choose the latter.

On the island, scent is not a trail. It is air. It sits on the skin like a shadow on a stone. I make my own misty perfumes – it is water with essential oils that I know and love. Sometimes a drop of rose, sometimes neroli. Sometimes just lavender.

It's not a "perfume", it's a state. You put it on your pillow. On your wrist. Into the open window before bed.

Foggy Perfume Recipe (DIY Spray)

Base:

  • 30 ml hydrolat (best of all - rose water or lavender)

  • 1 tsp alcohol (to fix the aroma) - can be replaced with vodka

Aromatic composition (example):

  • 3 drops rose essential oil

  • 2 drops of neroli

  • 1 drop of lavender

  • optional - 1 drop of sandalwood or bergamot

💧 How to cook:

  1. Take a glass spray bottle (preferably dark glass)

  2. Add essential oils

  3. Pour in the alcohol and shake a little.

  4. Then add hydrolat

  5. Let it brew for 1-2 days in a cool place.

☁️ How to use:

  • Spray in the room, on linen or in the air before bed.

  • On the pillow - for sleeping

  • On the inside of the wrists - morning or evening

  • In the closet - between the fabrics

📖 Notebook entry: “I no longer look for a smell, I create the air around me.”
