One-day cruise to Paxos and Antipaxos: like breathing in the sea.

Updated: Jun 29, 2025

There are places you can't get to by car. Only by the waves, by the wind. Only with a heart ready for new discoveries. The islands of Paxos and Antipaxos are exactly like that.

I love this part of the Ionian Sea for the color. It is especially turquoise here, especially deep. For the silence in the caves, broken only by the splash of the waves. For the white sand of Antipaxos, which feels like flour, and for Gaios, a small port town where life flows slowly and kindly.

This isn't just a cruise. It's a chance to feel what a free day smells like. How nice it is to be on the move, watching the water shimmer. How easy it is to forget about everything when you're sailing through sea arches and swimming among the rocks.

The ship leaves from Corfu and the whole day belongs to the sea.

Along the way are the Blue Caves, the beaches of Antipaxos and Gaios, the capital of Paxos, where it is pleasant to get lost for a couple of hours.

Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, light clothing and an open heart.

You can book this sea day here - it's my affiliate link, and if you choose to use it, you'll be supporting my island diary a little bit. Thanks!

In the Aegean Notebooks I write only about what is close to me, what I choose myself, what I want to advise from the heart.

See you by the water 💙— Lily
